Importing passwords helps you move into Krypt without manually recreating every login. The important part is treating the export file carefully, because many password managers export a readable CSV file.
Before you start
- Export your passwords from the old password manager only when you are ready to import.
- Keep the export file on your device, not in a shared folder.
- Unlock the Krypt vault where the imported items should be saved.
Steps
- Open Resources or Settings and choose Import Passwords.
- Select the exported password file from your old manager.
- Review the detected websites, usernames, and notes.
- Confirm the import and check that the saved items appear in Krypt.
- Delete the exported file after confirming the import worked.
Safety note
The temporary export file is the riskiest part of migration. Delete it from Downloads, Files, cloud folders, and trash after the import is complete.
