Transferring your data from an old password manager or a browser into Krypt is simple. Follow these steps to import your existing passwords securely.

1. Export from Your Previous Manager

First, you need to export your passwords from your old password manager (like Chrome, Bitwarden, or 1Password). Look for their "Export" feature and save the file as a standard `.CSV` file.

2. Access Import in Krypt

Open Krypt, navigate to "Settings", and tap on "Import Passwords".

3. Select Your Source Service

Choose the service you exported your passwords from so Krypt knows how to format the data (e.g., Chrome CSV format vs. normal CSV format).

4. Load and Map the File

Select the `.CSV` file on your device. Krypt will locally read the data. You may be asked to review the fields mapped to ensure passwords and usernames are correctly assigned.

5. Secure the Import

Tap "Start Import". Krypt will encrypt every entry locally and add them to your vault immediately. You can now delete the unencrypted `.CSV` file from your device Storage.
