Privacy Policy

Krypt is a zero-knowledge vault. We do not collect or access your vault contents, PIN, or encryption keys.

Data We Process

• Vault contents (files, passwords, metadata) are encrypted locally.
• Cloud sync (if enabled) uploads only encrypted data to your chosen provider.
• No analytics or tracking are used.
• Google Drive sync uses Google Sign-In for authentication.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No advertising identifiers.
• No usage analytics.
• No device fingerprinting.

User Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

• Data portability: Export your vault data at any time via Settings → Export Vault (Encrypted). You can choose encrypted (for re-import) or decrypted export (readable outside Krypt).
• Right to deletion: You can delete your vault and local files from within the app. This removes local data and encrypted files created by Krypt.
• No sale or sharing of personal data.

Third-Party Services

Cloud sync providers (e.g., Google Drive, iCloud) process your encrypted data under their own privacy policies. Krypt does not receive access to your cloud account credentials.

If you purchase via the website, Stripe processes payment details. Krypt does not store card information.
