How to Create a Password

Generating and storing a strong, unique password is one of the most important steps to securing your digital life. Here is how to create a password using Krypt.

1. Open the Krypt App

Launch Krypt on your device and enter your master password to unlock your vault securely.

2. Add a New Entry

Tap the "+" button located on the main vault screen and select "Password" from the menu options.

3. Fill in the Details

Enter the website or service name, your username or email address, and any relevant notes.

4. Generate a Strong Password

To avoid using a weak or reused password, tap the "Generate" icon next to the password field. You can adjust the length and complexity (symbols, numbers, uppercase letters) using the Krypt password generator until a secure password is created.

5. Save Your Entry

Tap "Save" to securely encrypt the password inside your local-first vault. Never worry about remembering it again!
