Before you start

- Keep your backup unlock method available during setup.
- Make sure the key is physically present before starting.
Steps
- Open Security Key setup on a supported device.
- Connect or tap your YubiKey or compatible security key.
- Follow the registration prompt.
- Touch the key when Krypt asks for confirmation.
- Test access before relying on the key.
Safety note
Do not make a hardware key your only way back in unless Krypt confirms that your backup access path is ready and stored safely.
